ST. THOMAS, USVI — Officials from the Virgin Islands Police Department will be holding a press briefing on Friday, July 17 at 11 a.m.
In keeping with Centers for Disease Control and Virgin Islands Department of Health guidelines to adhere to social distancing, no media will be allowed at the VIPD Headquarters. The press briefing will be conducted via conference call.
VIPD officials will be addressing the shooting incident that occurred July 9 in the vicinity of the shuttered Tutu High Rise community that left two persons dead.
