Helicopter Crash – 4 Confirmed Dead – West End of St. Thomas US Virgin Islands

Monday February 15, 2021 7pm– The Virgin Islands Territorial Emergency Management Agency – Virgin Islands Fire Service confirms Helicopter Crash in the western end of St. Thomas, area of Botany Bay – calls to 911 ECC at 314pm,
by citizen(s) in the area.
Confirmed 4 souls deceased and recovered in crash. Names will not be released. Pending notification of next-of-kin.
Incident and recovery mission continues. Once further details become available, updates will be provided to the media.
On location – Local Government – VI Police, VITEMA, VI Fire Service, Department of Justice and VI Port Authority. Federal Government – FAA, NTSB. St. Thomas Rescue is also on site for Search and Rescue.
